I've tried a few other small milkers and ended up coming back to this one.

  2. Henry Milker 2 system 4 Star Review

Posted by on 6th Jun 2017

I love this easy to use, convenient, and very economically priced Milking system. I use it on my goats, especially 1st time milkers and those I am training to milk. I like having the 2 teat system but love that you can milk only one teat with it as well.

  3. LOVE IT! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 2nd Jun 2017

SINCE MY GOATS EA HAVE A KID THAT USES ONLY ON SIDE OF THE UDDER, I'M ONLY USING 1/2 OF WHAT I could. Its fast, easy and I love it. The only thing I would suggest would be a thicker/stronger red plastic lid for the jars. But like I say I LOVE it.

  4. helpful for house-sitter 4 Star Review

Got the HM2 before we headed out on a 10 day trip; it was of great benefit to our neighbors who watched our house and animals.
As I use it, I notice the pump is MUCH easier to work than other 'knock off models.' Also, the customer support was prompt and helpful. Thanks!

  5. Amazingly easy 5 Star Review

Posted by on 28th Mar 2017

I just received my milking machine yesterday and got to work with it this morning. I can't say enough how easy it is to use. Wow!

Even though I somehow misplaced two short tubes between washing and milking, I did milk one side at a time at less time than before.

One doe has extremely small teats. I MEAN EXTREMELY SMALL. This machine made it a breeze, done in less than ten when it took over twenty tearful minutes to milk before.

My other doe has small teats as well, but I can hand milk her in five. This cut it down some and my hand didn't hurt like it didn't cramp my hand and wrist.

Great product and I would recommend it to anyone looking for a manual pump.

  6. Practical, well-made, simple to use 4 Star Review

I really love this milker! It is indispensable for my ewe who hates milking time! Honestly, I can hand milk a little bit more efficiently; however, my hands are getting achy, & this is MUCH easier on my hands. My 3 year old can do this, easily. If anyone gets snarky, it's much easier to milk a resistant animal this way-- wonderful-- you stand far out of the way of kicking heifers. Four stars because it is a minor pain to clean-- not a huge pain, tho. Compared with similar milkers-- 1)the BEST thing is: I can milk multiple species just by sliding the inserts in or out. With other models, you must buy separate (spendy!) teat cups for different animals. 2)The jars connect via milk lines, so you don't need to hold the entire container & teat cups under the animals like the udderly ez (some of my ewes are short-legged, and it would be impossible, but the Henry showed more foresight in their design & eliminated this issue!) 3) Again bc the Henry connects each component via milk lines, you need never be kicked again when training first time milkers or dealing with onery mamas!

  7. Amazingly simple! 5 Star Review

I had actually bought another similar milker that was so hard to use that I wasn't really sure about trying this one. I raise Boer goats and I recently bought a Nubian to help provide milk for bottle babies. I had zero experience milking goats and although I finally figured it out I am very slow. This milker is perfect. There is a slight learning curve but it doesn't take long to get the hang of it. The glass jars don't collapse and they are so much cleaner. I highly recommend this milker. I know when my two yearling does freshen I can simply take extra quart jars to the barn and get it done..

  8. Needed help milking-Henry Milker did it! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Oct 2016

I bought the Henry Milker 2 because I am milking 4 Nigerian Dwarf Does and my hands were so sore. I was a little concerned about whether it could really milk the Nigerian's smaller teats effectively. It really works! And the doe that was hardest to milk because of small teats and orifices is now no more difficult to milk than any other doe. My girls were a little shocked at the change at first and I had to deal with a little kicking, but after the first week they stand quite well, even better than when I hand milked because the Henry Milker goes a little faster than hand milking. Massaging the udder occasionally, especially near the end of milking (while the Henry Milker is attached and milking) is important if you want to remove as much milk as possible. I still milk out a small amount of hind milk (about a quarter of a cup) after the Henry Milker is finished. It is good to do this so that the does don't begin to drop in milk production. My hands are not sore any more. :)

  9. Saved my hands! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 10th Sep 2016

My arthritic hands were making milking by hand very painful. Soon to have surgery I decided upon this machine. I have been very pleased with the performance and the quality of this product. I am able to milk out my Nubian with no more stress on my hands. I ordered the milker, and the carrying bag which holds everything conveniently. I am also able to use wide mouth 1/2 gallon jars with no problems, as my girl is giving 9 cups in the morning milking. Shipping was super fast - I placed order on Saturday, and it arrived the following Monday. I definitely would recommend this milker for anyone with arthritis in hands.

  10. The Henry Milker 2 5 Star Review

Posted by on 20th Jul 2016

This is a great little gadget. It helps make milking fast and easy and clean. Even my crabby, fussy goat tolerates it well. I am glad I bought it and would recommend it to anyone who has a few goats to milk.
