  1. Amazingly simple! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Mar 2017

I had actually bought another similar milker that was so hard to use that I wasn't really sure about trying this one. I raise Boer goats and I recently bought a Nubian to help provide milk for bottle babies. I had zero experience milking goats and although I finally figured it out I am very slow. This milker is perfect. There is a slight learning curve but it doesn't take long to get the hang of it. The glass jars don't collapse and they are so much cleaner. I highly recommend this milker. I know when my two yearling does freshen I can simply take extra quart jars to the barn and get it done..

  2. Needed help milking-Henry Milker did it! 5 Star Review

I bought the Henry Milker 2 because I am milking 4 Nigerian Dwarf Does and my hands were so sore. I was a little concerned about whether it could really milk the Nigerian's smaller teats effectively. It really works! And the doe that was hardest to milk because of small teats and orifices is now no more difficult to milk than any other doe. My girls were a little shocked at the change at first and I had to deal with a little kicking, but after the first week they stand quite well, even better than when I hand milked because the Henry Milker goes a little faster than hand milking. Massaging the udder occasionally, especially near the end of milking (while the Henry Milker is attached and milking) is important if you want to remove as much milk as possible. I still milk out a small amount of hind milk (about a quarter of a cup) after the Henry Milker is finished. It is good to do this so that the does don't begin to drop in milk production. My hands are not sore any more. :)

  3. Saved my hands! 5 Star Review

My arthritic hands were making milking by hand very painful. Soon to have surgery I decided upon this machine. I have been very pleased with the performance and the quality of this product. I am able to milk out my Nubian with no more stress on my hands. I ordered the milker, and the carrying bag which holds everything conveniently. I am also able to use wide mouth 1/2 gallon jars with no problems, as my girl is giving 9 cups in the morning milking. Shipping was super fast - I placed order on Saturday, and it arrived the following Monday. I definitely would recommend this milker for anyone with arthritis in hands.

  4. The Henry Milker 2 5 Star Review

This is a great little gadget. It helps make milking fast and easy and clean. Even my crabby, fussy goat tolerates it well. I am glad I bought it and would recommend it to anyone who has a few goats to milk.

  5. Milker saved milking 5 Star Review

    Mike,
Thanks so much for a great product. I have carpal tunnel and milking had become so painful I was afraid I was going to have to quit milking. I also appreciate so much the fact that you help me with my problem of milking one goat with very large diameter teets and the other with much shorter and skinnier teets. Milking time has been cut down considerably and I no longer have to worry about the goats getting tired of waiting for me to finish and start kicking at my milk bucket to hurry. I still wonder if longer teets cups could ever be made for those of us with Nubian goats that have extra long teets like 3 of my goats now. :-) Thank you again for saving our milking and the ability to provide good milk for our family.

  6. Milking is now so easy! 5 Star Review

Posted by on 10th Jul 2016

I have had to milk my daughter's goats occasionally. I'm not very good at hand milking and I really bother the does! Our previous milking machine required too much hand strength. This is perfect!! I'm now quick and the does love me a lot more!!

  7. good hand milker 5 Star Review

Posted by on 14th Jun 2016

It's a good milker especially, if the teats are really small and you can't do it by hand. Using a hand pump can really tax you hand but you get used to that after a while . It does a really good job and I'm very impressed with it. It's not too bad to clean either. Like I said, I like it.

  8. Thank Goodness I found the Henry Milker 5 Star Review

Posted by on 26th May 2016

A friend referred me to the Henry Milker because I had a girl almost impossible to milk out and refusing to let her twins nurse. I was considering selling her because her udder and teats were so swollen and the milking impossibly slow. To the rescue, Henry Milker, and now this goat seems to appreciate the gentleness of the milking and will stand patiently until milked out. Truly, this product delivers. I am very grateful.

  9. Definitely helping - little bit of a learning curve 4 Star Review

Posted by on 20th May 2016

This is my first year to have 4 does to milk every morning. I didn't think my arm would hold out so I searched for a simple way to aid my work. I didn't want to have to plug in anything or have any motors. Found the Henry Milker and decided to go for the 2 model.
I have Nigerian Dwarfs and they have pretty small teats, so sometimes the suction doesn't hold and they fall off. And I have one where the suction holds, but it just won't draw any milk out about 1/2 the time so I end up milking by hand.
I am getting about 80% of the milk out by the HM2 overall, and am hand milking the remaining 20%.
Working great and getting better and better with it all the time.
Very good product and seems to be gentle on the udders and the girls do mind it at all.
Added bonus is that the milk is super clean.
