  1. works great 4 Star Review

Posted by on 23rd May 2015

Can't imagine doing it any other way now. It's simple lightweight and well constructed. I highly recommend it.

My only problem has been one of the two seal gaskets tends to fold up when I put my jar on. But otherwise it's a fantastic product.

  2. Perfect for the homesteader 5 Star Review

Extremely easy to use and a huge relief from hand milking. I wouldn't say its any faster than hand milking but it is much easier on the hands. Perfect for a few backyard animals but probably too small for a a larger herd. Great for taking to shows instead of lugging a vacumme pump and milking machine. Overall a great product and top notch service.

I just started using the Henry Milker 2 and LOVE it! the milker is easy to use, efficient and the goats are not bothered by it as it is not uncomfortable for them.

My husband and I are already planning on ordering another one (I just wish the shipping was not so much :( ).

  5. New to goats and to milking-Made easy! 4 Star Review

So I got this milker literally days before my first goat gave birth! (little startled with the 2 boxes sent separately) I put my girl on the stand and could hardly hand milk a drop out of her tiny teats, but put on the Henry Milker and BAM 1 cup in the jars! She was not even done eating her grain, made life very easy on both of us.

  6. Great product at a good price. 5 Star Review

This is my second HM2, I used the first for 1 1/2 yrs with my goats, then loaned it to my parents for their cow (my goats were dry). It worked so great for them, I told them to keep it and ordered a new one for this milking season. If you ever have problems or questions Mike is quick to help. Excellent customer service.

  7. Great Product for Milking a small Goat Herd 5 Star Review

Faster than hand milking. Takes a few minutes to perfect technique, but once perfected it works very well. We put the pressure about 6 and let the milk flow.

  8. Love It! 5 Star Review

I researched other products but bought the Henry Milker 2. I have Nigerian Dwarf Goats. This milker is simple and easy to use. Makes milking a breeze! SO glad I made this purchase.

  9. For folks who can't the hang of hand milking! 4 Star Review

Posted by on 1st Dec 2014

My husband just can't get the hang of milking - his fingers get in the way, he can't get a good stream and finally our Marguerite gets frustrated with him and starts kicking after she has eaten her grain! Hubby can use the HM 2 which now allows me a bit of freedom as I am not tied to the 7 and 4 milking time every day!
We bought a wide plastic bucket with a handle to hold both jars in place going up to the barn and while milking - otherwise the HM 2 is complete . . .

  10. Trial and Error 5 Star Review

Posted by on 15th Oct 2014

It took a few times milking to perfect our technique with the Henry Milker, but now we are in n out of the barn in record time! First, we discovered to start the pressure at around 6, no higher. That is plenty for a continual milk flow. One of our girls closes her orifices very quickly, so we have to wash udder/teats and squirt test/strip the milk fast then get the milker suctioning or it won't work. Sometimes, we turn off one valve, hand squirt directly into the teat cup, then resume milking. Don't force milking by upping the pressure! Check your goat FIRST! Toward the end of the milk stream, we bump the teat cups upward to encourage if she wants to hold back. We went with the flow so to speak and now consider ourselves Henry Milker pros!! Thanks Mike Henry!
